Cold Work Steel

Cold work steel is a category of tool steel designed for tooling applications where the working temperature remains relatively low, typically below about 200 °C. These steels are engineered with high carbon content and alloying elements such as chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and vanadium to provide excellent hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability during machining and forming operations.
