Premium Tool Steel Grades

P20 (DIN 1.2311) is commonly used for plastic injection molds and mold bases. It is often supplied in pre-hardened condition to allow direct machining without additional heat treatment. P20 is suitable for general plastic mold applications requiring stable machinability.

PM23 is a powder metallurgy tool steel used for high wear stamping and fine blanking applications. It is typically selected for tooling inserts requiring extended service life. PM23 is supplied as small blocks with heat treatment and finishing arranged per order.

PM30 is a powder metallurgy tool steel used for wear-intensive tooling applications. It is commonly applied in stamping inserts and wear parts requiring high wear resistance. Material is supplied as cut-to-size blocks with processing arranged per order.

PM60 (ASP60) is a powder metallurgy tool steel used for tooling applications requiring very high wear resistance. It is commonly selected for stamping inserts, fine blanking inserts, and wear parts where service life is a priority. PM60 is typically supplied as cut-to-size blocks, with heat treatment and grinding arranged according to application requirements.

S136 (DIN 1.2083) is a stainless plastic mold steel used for mold cores and cavities where corrosion resistance is required. It is commonly selected for molds processing corrosive plastics or operating in humid environments. Material can be supplied in annealed or heat-treated condition.

SKH9 is a high speed steel similar to M2, commonly used for cutting tools and wear parts. It is selected for applications requiring high hardness and wear resistance. Material is supplied in annealed or heat-treated condition depending on requirements.

YG15 is a carbide grade commonly used for wear inserts in stamping die applications. It is supplied as custom blanks for tooling inserts where high wear resistance is required. Delivery condition and sizes are confirmed per order.
